Thien Lu is a study in opposites that form a dynamic whole.
He listens to Bossanova in the mornings. Kisses his puppy goodbye before leaving for work. Drives like a madman in his Volkswagen. Rides bikes for miles and commits to every skate trick with force and dedication. He is quiet and polite to new acquaintances yet quick to laugh out loud with close friends.
Born in Hawaii, Thien has lived in California, Florida, and now North Carolina. His extensive travels throughout this country and the world have given him a perspective that forces him to strive for the best in all things. Working as a DJ, buyer for a clothing store, automotive painter, and currently as a graphic designer, Thien also has a wealth of diverse experiences that few can match.
Everything he owns is customized and specific to him. His shoes are laced in a meticulous way. He collects and displays designer toys, mid-century furniture, and vintage and new vinyl. Everything he discovers an interest in becomes a precious and specific endeavor. Nothing that he touches is untouched by his creative mind.
